But, stop, Be aware of the sand clock's ploy
The year ahead holds surprises aplenty
But never do forget the perils of being twenty
The kid at the mall will call you 'aunty'
The maid on leave means housework is your duty
People stare when you giggle
And give long sessions about learning to mature
You will be expected to pay the bills,
You can't cry when you are hurt
And of course, you gotta wash your own shirt
But fear not your entry to twenty
Because, its a lot more worser when u reach thirty!
