'The Gang'

Well people at Psg might tell you EEE's got less creativity, less intution and all that. But we really do have one thing in plenty. Yeah! Thats Gangs. Gangs are destroyed and recreated almost everyday with more fellow members or lesser morons aiding you. But there is 'The Gang' which till today has wavered but never faltered by misinterpretations and differences of opinion. Thats the gang of girls. Assuming you have never come across any of the girls I gonna introduce, let me start.
1) Ms. Petite Beauty:
With the size of her fan club ever growing, this puny girl from the land of cocunuts quite ravishes tech. Thats only a part of her. The best part is the way she sings the most horrible tunes as if they were beethoven's classic ones and with an air even Madonna would appreciate. She is quite famous for last minute preps and her jerry voice (Hoping she would never read this..)
2)Ms.Figure of EEE:
She is what artists call a stick figure and mathematicians call a 'Perfect two dimensional brilliance'. With a size zero which a certain bollywood Kapoor is trying to imitate in vain, She remains to this day the undisputed Figure of EEE. She wins acclaim for her let-the-devil-care attitude and her empathetic approach.
3)Ms.Road Runner:
With all the medals and trophies she has won, even the dumbest ass in sport would accept her to be a remarkable sportswoman(though I am only a little better, I can name most games). Ever sincere or ever running _ I dont know which would suit her better. But if you ever tell her that she is sincere, be ready for total destruction.

The INTRAMS 2008

That was the first time I got to see a 'senior',not that I see many these days. She came to the room of a certain friend of mine (who shall be hence referred as Miss. Chennai) and put a lot of what you call scene. Anyway the whole gathering was about our having to shout(my versiopn) or cheer (to phrase it clearly) our department when it got to stage

Perhaps This is college...???

It is too late!!!

Perhaps I would have been blogging in the present tense if i had started this last year. But since I am late and my memory not so stable I am gonna start events that happened more recently. Will add up other past events when I get to remember them well.

Classes classes everytime!!!

Well, College is not just about freaking out... You got to study... And I learnt it the first day in college. Because after a two session getting us accustomed to the college (though we did not get very far..), we were made to sit in one of those nth floor classes in the I block (Supposed to be the Industry block). To be really honest though I was supposed to have really a good feeling sitting there like an engineering student theoretically should, I was not. It was the same (Heavens save me!!) horrible class like in school only with 64 unfamiliar faces (Two had not turned up).I wasnt feeling lonely anyway. Sowbi was my schoolmate and Sindhu( the constant chatterbox) I got accustomed to (Well our parents had met aldready during the counselling). We sat there commenting everyone right from the start. The first was a guy who looked like a geek (Hope he is not reading it) Lets christine him Mr.Know-it-all (Purely for privacy reasons). The next was a Mr.I-am-handsome-even-if-you-cant-see-it alais Scene as we shall call him later. We named them MK1 and MK2 respectively (MK- Mundiri Kottai.. Thats cashew nuts babe..). The girls were girls as usual..both smart and funny and of course beautiful. And this was a group that justified it.

Orienting us...

I did everything I could to make me look good and there I stood amongst the other 100 or so unfamiliar strange faces all coloured with that hue of apprehensive red colouring their skins and a look so very startled. It was the same foolish look that set upon my face too that day. The orientation started just about the time it was supposed to (Deluding us that this was how things would be) . Maybe it was the boring months before that made me me feel interested in those dull introduction lectures or maybe it was awe at the hall we were seated in, But somehow we (atleast I) thought that college was fantabulous and life would never be the same boring thing again.

Alighting the bridge

With its noddy colours of red and yellow the bridge may not quite interest me today, but then...it must have swung from my really arrogant steps (Thank goodness that the parking was on the other side of the college). Was I not proud to climb up those hagh steps? I was. But am I now? Apprehension about what seniors would be and prejudice against all those really kind people nearly frightened me. Would the hostel be Hogwarts Or just another replica of my school hostel or would it be a place full of stench and "Wicked wardens"? It was too early to say...

My First day in College..

It was all hustle and bustle in the Coimbatore roads (which I could not hear because of my owm spirits flying in wonder dreams). My dad pushed the car to a halt(damned traffic signals) and a few metres ahead a bridge stood across the road. It was not just any other bridge, it was a bridge to tread which I had forsaken all those midday naps, the bridge to alight which I had given up those really nice picnics.. I was here finally... I might be walking there a few hours from now...
But it was not just those rosy visions that hid from me the screaming autos and roadside shops that we drove through... Fear, Apprehension and all those scary feelings that churned in my stomach adding to the hunger I was aldready in were also in the forefront.
But what was college going to be?? My fairytale come true or one horrid and cruel?
